Steven Honig

Research Associate, Asia Studies

Steven Honig is the research associate for Asia studies at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Before joining CFR, he worked for the United States Institute of Peace and as a research assistant to Dr. Eliot Cohen and Dr. Hal Brands. He was also an Edwin O. Reischauer policy research fellow at Johns Hopkins and an intern with the Center for a New American Security. Steven holds a bachelor's degree in international relations and political science from Tufts University and a master's in international relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
